Hillside deck

Start to finish deck job. This job was definitely a challenge being on such a steep hill. We had to build stairs to get down to the job site to make it safe and then a landing That was big enough to get materials down the hill and be able to turn around. On top of the staircase, we built a ramp so that we were able to slide all the material down to the bottom of the hill. We also installed a winch set up above the landing to help maneuver large material. The deck is approximately 3 stories high. It is built with pressure treated lumber and Trex decking. The railing is powder coated aluminum with tempered glass inserts. Towards the end of the job the client wanted to build another staircase going further down the hill and then a walkway that would run to a smaller deck alongside a small Creek. As an added bonus we built the client a birdhouse. The client then elected to restain two existing decks and staircases and his front door
